FAQs

Scenic City Signs

  • What size should my sign be?

Sign sizes vary based on their purpose and location. Parking space signs are typically 12 by 18 inches, while realtor signs are often 24 by 8 inches. For roadside visibility, signs usually start at 4 feet by 8 feet. Building signage dimensions are generally larger, depending on specific visibility needs and location requirements.
  • What signage materials do you use?

At Scenic City Signs, we utilize Coroplast for yard signs due to its durability and lightweight nature. For more permanent outdoor signage, we prefer composite materials such as ACM-Aluminum Composite Material. This option provides a cost-effective and sturdy solution that withstands outdoor elements exceptionally well.
  • How long will my sign take to complete?

Completion times vary depending on the sign type. Standard orders are typically ready within 5 to 7 business days. Routed and ADA signs may require 10 to 15 business days. For more complex projects like electric signs and channel letters, the process from approval to installation usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Can I see a preview of my sign?

Certainly. We provide digital proofs for all projects requiring approval. We'll send you renderings that accurately represent the final product, allowing you to visualize your sign before we begin production.
  • Can I install the sign myself?

Self-installation is possible for smaller items like decals and wall signs. However, for larger or electrical signage, we strongly recommend professional installation to ensure safety and proper setup.
